Relax Candle & Bath Company offers this website, including all information, tools and services available on the website to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions and policies stated by us.

By visiting our website and making a purchase you engage in “service” with us and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions set out below. These “Terms of Service” apply to all users of the website including users who are browsing, vendors, customers, merchants and/or contributors of content.

Please read these terms and conditions before proceeding any further on our website. If you do not agree with any of our terms and conditions do not hesitate to contact our customer service to enquire further. However, if this is the case, we would advise that you do not continue to browse any further on the website or proceed to use any of its services.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of the terms and conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility, the consumer, to check this page regularly for any changes. Your continued use of or access to the website after any changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our store is hosted on IONOS. They provide us with the online ecommerce platform that allows us to process payments securely on our website which in turn allows us to sell you, the consumer, our products/services online.

GENERAL CONDITONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any at any time.

You agree to not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any of the service you receive whilst buying from us, without express written permission by us.

By agreeing to these “Terms of Service” you agree that you are at least of a majority age in your town/city or province of residence, or that you are of the age of majority in your town/city or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependants to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature whilst accessing our website.

A breach or violation of any of the terms will result in an immediate termination of your services.

COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint about our Terms & Conditions, Service or our products then we will attempt to resolve the complaint using our internal complaints handling procedure, please see our contact us page for customer service details. If the process is exhausted and the complaint is not settled in this way, you may make a request to us for the dispute to be settled by mediation through The Retail Ombudsman. If you make such a request, we shall consider whether we wish to use The Retail Ombudsman to try and resolve the dispute, but we are not obliged to by law. If we agree to submit a dispute to The Retail Ombudsman, we shall notify you and you may (i) complete the online form on the Retail Ombudsman website or (ii) send your complaint using a paper form to The Retail Ombudsman , 33rd Floor Euston Towers, 286 Euston Road, London, NW1 3DP. PRICING & VAT

Our prices as stated on the website, are in pound sterling (£) and include VAT, where applicable. You will be charged in pounds sterling even if you don’t live in the UK. We reserve the right to alter our prices at any time. Overseas orders may incur bank charges for international transactions. Prices and promotions held in our stockist stores may not apply to this website, unless otherwise stated, and vice versa. Please note that offers are subject to availability and may end before originally advertised. Where you have requested delivery to a UK or EU address, the price paid for the product will usually include VAT at the applicable rate, and the applicable amount of VAT will be shown on your email sales notification.

If you have requested delivery to a non-EU address, the products will normally be zero-rated and not subject to UK VAT, however the total amount charged for your order will not change.

VAT QUERIES

Delivery costs will be added to your order and the final total will include VAT at the applicable rate calculated on your products and the cost of delivery.

For orders delivered outside of the EU, VAT will not be chargeable, although the total cost of your order will remain unchanged. For those outside the EU, authorities in your country may impose their own duties or taxes on incoming parcels. We are not responsible for any such charges.

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS

We aim to dispatch orders within one working day, so if you wish to cancel your order without incurring a cost for returning an unwanted item to us, you will need to notify us of your wish to cancel your order before it is dispatched. You can notify us of your wish to cancel your order in a couple of ways. You can either call us on 0161 637 5595 or you can contact us via email at hello@relaxcandleandbath.co.uk. The above also applies for any changes you may wish to make to your order. To avoid paying a delivery charge again notify us of the change you wish to make prior to your order being dispatched. For all cancellations/changes please ensure that you have your order number and name to hand so that we can deal with your query as efficiently as possible. When you purchase from us you create a contract between ourselves and you the consumer, which starts from us confirming your order has been dispatched. If the products have already been delivered to you then you have 14 days, days meaning calendar days including weekends and bank holidays, from receipt of goods to return them to us.

To cancel a contract, please contact us in writing to tell us by sending an email to hello@relaxcandleandbath.co.uk or by sending a letter to CUSTOMER CARE, RELAX CANDLE & BATH COMPANY, UNIT 4 BUILDING 3, TAMESIDE BUSINESS PARK, WINDMILL LANE , DENTON, MANCHESTER, M34 3QS. You may wish to keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your own records. If you send us your cancellation notice by email or post, then your cancellation is effective from the date you sent us the email or posted the letter. You need to inform us of your decision to cancel before the 14-day cancellation period has expired. Where you have cancelled a contract and the goods have already been delivered to you, you should return them to us as soon as possible and in any event no later than 14 days after the day you inform us of your right to cancel. You can return products by sending them to our Returns Address below. Unless the products are faulty or not as described, you will be responsible for the cost of returning them to us. You have a legal obligation to keep the products in your possession and to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession.

If you cancel a contract within the 14-day cancellation period, you will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the products and any applicable delivery charges you paid for. You will not be refunded for any costs you have incurred for returning the products to us. Where the products have already been delivered to you, we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 calendar days after the day on which we receive the retuned products, or (if earlier) within 14 calendar days after the day you provide us with evidence that the products were returned to us. Where the products have not been delivered to you, we will process the refund within 14 calendar days after the day we were informed of your decision to cancel the contract. We will refund you on the credit card or debit card you paid for the products with originally. We have a legal duty to supply products that conform with the descriptions and specifications in the contract between you and us. As a consumer, you will always have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described which are not affected by your cancellation rights above. If you have returned the products to us because they are faulty or mis-described, we will refund the price of a defective product in full, any applicable delivery charges, and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us.

In the event of a damaged parcel:

We’re very sorry if the Relax products you looked forward to receiving have arrived damaged. We do our best to pack them safely, but even the most lovingly prepared parcel can get dropped or jostled on route to your chosen delivery location. If you send these products back to us within 14 days of receiving them, we will offer you an exchange where possible, or a full refund after we have received the return. In this case, we will pay for the postage of sending these back to us. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights. It may be possible for you to return these goods to a Relax stockist; to find out if this is possible, please call 0161 637 5595 or email us at hello@relaxcandleandbath.co.uk. This applies to UK only customers.
